from Milan (130 km): take the A7 Milan-Genoa motorway; at Tortona take the A21 motorway towards Turin; exit at the Asti Ovest toll booth; continue towards the city of Asti, at the first crossroads take Corso Ivrea and continue for Montechiaro following the road signs;

from Genoa (125 km): take the motorway in the direction of Savona; close to Voltri turn in the direction of Alessandria; at Alessandria take the A21 motorway in the direction of Turin; exit at the Asti Ovest toll booth; continue in the direction of Asti, at the first crossroads turn into Corso Ivrea and continue on for Montechiaro following the road signs.
