» CHIESA di S. ANTONINO (CHURCH OF ST. ANTHONY)

Property of the municipality of Montechiaro which had it built in 1660 to honour Saint Anthony of Padua.
The architect is unknown, but certainly talented; his artistic skill is clear from the noble lines adorning the baroque façade in terracotta and the elegant internal areas in the shape of a Greek cross. In the centre the façade is composed by two overlapping orders with curvilinear gable, joined at the lower parts by two volutes. The inside, even if not large in area, has a noble imposing aspect due to the harmony of the volumes and proportions. A small cupola dominates the niche of the apse, where an exquisite stucco altar is enthroned, work of the Solari studio of the second half of the 18th century with the wooden statues of Saint Bernardo of Menton. In the side niches, the aedicules of rather recent construction house the statue of St. Anthony of Padua in polychrome terracotta on the right and the statue of an unidentified holy bishop on the left.
» CAPPELLA di S.VITTORIA (CHAPEL OF ST. VICTORIA)

The chapel already existed in 1635.
The construction had considerable maintenance work carried out on it over the centuries and was totally rebuilt in 1846. It is the private property of the Falleti family.
It is said that it was built to remember the victory of the Montechiaro people over the Asti political exiles in the 15th century

» CAPPELLA di SAN ANTONIO ABATE (CHAPEL of SAINT ANTHONY ABATE)

The chapel dedicated to this saint was very old, so old as to be mentioned in the minutes of the pastoral visit in 1627.
It was built in the current site during the second half of the 18th century by Senior Officer Franco Antonio Vandero.
It preserves a discreet baroque façade in terracotta with elegant window frames and entrance which contains a door in 18th century sculpted panels
